As a huge fan of Jujutsu Kaisen, I couldn’t be more excited to finally be getting a new JJK game after Jujutsu Kaisen: Cursed Clash. It was officially revealed in the announcement trailer that premiered during the latest Nintendo Direct. If you haven’t seen it yet, make sure to check the trailer out

poncle is teaming up With Shueisha Games

I must admit, I’ve never played the hit indie game Vampire Survivors by poncle, but I’ve heard a lot about it. That made me even more excited to learn that Vampire Survivors creator Luca Galante is collaborating with Shueisha Games on this new Jujutsu Kaisen game. I'm sure many people, like me, have never tried a game from them before, but the fact that it's a Jujutsu Kaisen title will likely encourage a lot of fans to give this style of game a chance. It may even inspire some players to check out Vampire Survivors afterward and see what all the fuzz is about.

What Kind of Game Can We Expect From JUJUTSU KAISEN RUMBLE: SURVIVATON

it's a survivor royale for up to eight players, where you'll battle cursed spirits, level up your chosen character, and fight to become the last sorcerer standing. Players can choose from a roster of more than 20 characters from Jujutsu Kaisen, all while keeping an eye on other competitors who will be looking to take them out and claim victory for themselves.

By defeating both cursed spirits and rival players, you'll unlock rule-changing effects that can alter the flow of the match and give you an advantage. The concept is somewhat reminiscent of the Culling Game arc from Jujutsu Kaisen.

Throughout each match, you'll fight your way through hordes of curses until only two players remain. At that point, the game transitions into an epic one-on-one showdown to determine which of the two sorcerers is truly the strongest.

Not much is known yet about progression and unlockables beyond the ability to unlock additional characters. Personally, I can't wait to get my hands on the King of Curses himself, Ryomen Sukuna.

Speaking of Sukuna, one thing I'm really curious about is how the game will handle character balancing. Will powerhouse characters like Sukuna or Gojo have a significant advantage over weaker fighters, or will the developers find ways to keep the roster balanced? I hope the game encourages players to choose their favorite characters rather than forcing everyone toward a small group of meta picks. A fair and well-balanced roster would go a long way toward keeping the game fun and competitive for everyone.

We won't have to wait too long, as the game is currently slated for release in 2026 on Nintendo Switch 2, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.
