Good news for Onimusha fans: Capcom has announced that the release date for Onimusha: Way of the Sword has been bumped up from September 25 to September 4! We’ll be getting our hands on it earlier than expected.
Also, if you haven't tried it yet, Capcom has released a demo for Onimusha: Way of the Sword. I highly recommend giving it a shot; it’s a lot of fun. I had a blast playing it at Gamescom last year and have been enjoying the PC demo at home as well. Unfortunately, my Switch 2 is currently broken so I can't test it there, but I bet it runs great given how well Resident Evil Requiem played on the platform.
In addition, Capcom showed that you'll be able to grab an artbook and, best of all, an Onimusha vinyl soundtrack. As a vinyl collector myself, I'm definitely tempted to pick this up! My hype for Onimusha is slowly growing, and I hope to try out a new demo at Gamescom this year.
