After years of waiting, Konami has officially unveiled a release date trailer for Silent Hill: Townfall. The new footage offers fans a fresh look at story details, gameplay, and available game editions ahead of its scheduled release on September 24, 2026 for PlayStation 5 and PC
What Silent Hill: Townfall tries to tell us.
As the newly released trailer suggests, Simon Ordell wakes up in the Scottish island village of St. Amelia with no memory of how he got there, but knowing that he needs to "set things right." The gameplay shown in the trailer is entirely from a first-person perspective, revealing that exploration, puzzle elements, and combat against grotesque monsters will play a major role.
Although first-person, Silent Hill: Townfall also retains some of the survival horror staples that have made the series what it is. Simon’s investigation is aided by the mysterious CRTV, which acts as a replacement for the radio used in previous installments, allowing him to detect the presence of nearby creatures, as well as uncovering additional information about the town’s long-forgotten history.
