The dense fog is returning. Just like Bloober Team teased in their recent development announcement, they are teaming up with Konami once again to give us fans a full remake of the original Silent Hill, featuring the iconic protagonist Harry Mason in search for his Daughter.
Right now, it's completely unknown how long this project has been in development, when we’ll get the next news drop, or when it's expected to launch. My guess is it’s still at least two to three years away, but only time will tell. Still, Silent Hill fans don't have to worry about a massive drought. With Silent Hill f releasing soon, we’ll be able to step right back into the fog and follow Hinako's path, not to mention we also have Silent Hill: Townfall to look forward to.
What I Think About the Announcement
I'm incredibly positive and hyped for the future of the franchise. After the amazing job Bloober Team did with the Silent Hill 2 remake, I can't wait to see how they rebuild the original game from the ground up. One thing is for sure: we are all going to love stepping into the fog with Harry Mason once again.
